*sigh* ^^^ boring is what your probably thinking, but let me tell you my review anyway :L This book is about a girl of our age called TJ whose best friend called Hannah moves away and then TJ is stuck to make friends. At TJ’s school there is the opportunity to be magazine editor of their school paper and so, with a lot of encouragement, TJ signs up for it. She also manages to find 3 good friends who she hangs around with. Now, that TJ’s life seems to be going okay, the bigger problem comes in; boys! She’s terrible around them and is known for going into alien noise girl when she’s around them. Her next door neighbour is a great family friend called Scott and she’s known him for ages so it would only be awkward to go out with him and instead she has her eyes set on her friend’s brother called Steve who she admires and he feels the same way about her. Whilst all of this is happening, there’s still the bother of doing the magazine and organises to complete it at a sleepover with her friends. AT last, she finishes the magazine and gives it into her teacher, but then when the teacher reads out everyone’s names of who has completed the task, TJ’s name is nowhere to be heard. Could her worst enemy, Wendy have sabotaged it???
My favourite character from this book is probably one of TJ’s friends called Lucy because she is the one that first makes friends with TJ and she is also really comforting when TJ’s magazine goes missing. Overall I would give this book a 4/5 star rating as it is a good book to read but lacked suspense slightly.
